Job Overview:We are seeking an IT Applications Support Engineer who is a high impact Information technology leader with diverse industry experience. We are looking for someone who has strong experience around general ERP Administration, business process optimization, Application management and end user training. This position will act as a liaison between the employee / customers and management, ensuring alignment and effective delivery of new IT solutions within our technology initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical expertise in the area of NetSuite and custom integrated software configuration, customization and technical management. This includes developing processes and procedures for integrations leveraging the platforms capabilities and technical best practices.
  • Driving smooth as needed Applications major upgrades.
  • Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, third party tools / applications and new NetSuite functionality based on evolving business needs.
  • Design, implement, and maintain configurations and customizations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Helping ensure tracking Change Management in all Business Application platforms.
  • Keeping current on technical development within the ecosystem to help leadership team evaluate and pilot additional tools, processes, third party integrations, etc.
  • Provide training and ongoing system/technical support to users.
  • Developing relationship with third party vendor support teams to maximize effectiveness of issues troubleshooting & resolution.
  • Meet regularly with all teams to ensure all new processes and initiatives are being captured efficiently.
  • Work with all teams to implement new processes.
  • Give training and support to teams as needed.
  • Recommending system changes and enhancements based on changing operational and business needs
  • Serve as primary point of contact for issues related to all applications.
  • Project management skills required to manage external development consultants
  • Understand business processes analysis (document, evaluate, update) to align with processes.
  • Ability to create and edit complex searches and reports including distribution to recipients (scheduled, automatic delivery)
  • Ability to determine user information needed for dashboards based on role
  • Maintain user roles and access privileges while controlling data access including periodic review and adjustment
  • Evaluate all Applications against company needs and cost, making appropriate recommendations.
  • Front line technical support for users (including manage user access and maintain system access/roles and rights)
  • Work with all teams to design and build new processes.
  • Create and edit dashboards, saved searches, reports, workflows, KPIs, forms, etc.
  • Implement new data points and data types. Maintain master data list.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
    Essential Qualifications:
    • Education: A Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent / related IT field experience is required.
    • Experience: 3-5 years relevant experience, with a manufacturing company. Experience with a mid-sized company ($20M-$500M in revenues) is required. Recent NetSuite user experience.
      Competences:Ability to work independently and as a team member, in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines while successfully communicating with both internal and external customers.Sound knowledge in project management process and concepts to manage external development consultants.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.Ability to solve highly complex problems by working with cross-functional teams from IT and business across regions.Good influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders across business functions.Ability to quickly adapt to the changes and manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change effectively.Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.Good business acumen and an interest in building up business understanding to help connect business needs and challenges to the right technical solutions.Thorough and detail-oriented, results-driven, excellent analytical skills and time management skills.Self-motivated with the ability to adapt, prioritize, and execute.Benefits offered
