Description:Lockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control Business
Area is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control
(GNC) Engineer for an exciting Orlando, FL position.
To be considered for this role you must have an active Secret
clearance with an investigation withn the last 5 years. Due to the
classified nature of this program all work must be performed
You will support the Algorithm and Performance Evaluation IPT. You
will primarily be responsible for guidance algorithm design,
implementation, testing, and performance evaluation. You may also
be involved in simulation model development, performance
assessment, pre and post-flight predictions, and simulation
verification and validation activities. C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
experience is also required.

You must have the the ability to perform the following Guidance,
Navigation and Control (GNC) assignments:
- Perform Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and
Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) design and simulation analysis.
- Develop and analyze guidance, navigation and autopilot
- Design target tracking systems which generally include target
state estimation and target/detection association.
- Demonstrate experience with optimal state estimation filters such
as KALMAN and Extended KALMAN filter (EKF).
- Perform design and analyses of terrestrial navigation and
navigation state error estimation.
- Contribute to the definition of an operational flight program
(OFP) with integrated high fidelity 6DOF simulations.
- Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight
- Demonstrate strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra,
matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate
- Demonstrate mastery of MATLAB and C/C++ programming.
You must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background
investigation within the last 5 years.
M&S and CSF/CMD architecture experience.
