Job Number: R Data Engineer, SeniorKey Role:Support the design, development, maintenance, and security of data platforms for sharing of multi-INT information across the DoD. Work with multiple stakeholders to understand their mission, current architecture, and security requirements. Recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and new te chn ology. Support integration of novel mission applications and analytics. Identify new opportunities to build platform-based solutions to help the client meet complex challenges.Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in working with computer languages, including Java, Python, Scala, C, C++, or C#
• Experience working in data ingestion, processing, and distribution
• Experience with us ing datastores and databases, to include Postgres, AWS RDS, DynamoDB or Mongo DB
• Experience in working with containers, including docker and kubernetes
• Knowledge of Agile sof tware development practices
• Ability to work with publish-subscribe ( pub/sub ) messaging te chn ology, including Apache Kafka or NiFi
• Ability to engineer Extract, Program, and Load ( ETL ) processes
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GEDAdditional qualifications:
  • Experience in supporting Army tactical edge units
  • Experience in working with data virtualization tools, including Denodo, Immuta, or Collibra
  • Knowledge of advanced Artifi cia l Intelligence ( AI ) or Machine Learning ( ML ) analytics
  • Knowledge of cognitive computing, data integration, data mining, natural language processing, Hadoop platforms, or automating machine learning components
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree preferred
