Established in 1968, UCF College of Business offers degrees at the
bachelor's, master's, doctoral and executive levels. All programs,
as well as the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting, are
accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of
Business.The OpportunityThis position is employer facing and the
selected candidate will be working with our undergraduate and
graduate versions of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) powered by
Salesforce titled Knightline and GradBiz Knightline respectively.
Primary responsibilities will be the onboarding of employers to the
ATS, daily maintenance/upkeep of the ATS, relationship development
of employers, and outreach to prospective employers to continue
building the scope and breadth of our ATS.The Career Coach will
function as an Employer Liaison and work closely with the Office of
Outreach and Engagement (OOE), Office of Professional Development
(OPD), and Office of Graduate Programs (OGP) staff to match
students with employment opportunities posted by employer partners.
The selected person will also play an integral part in the
colleges' corporate partnership program by coordinating ongoing
outreach calls, processing billing/invoicing of partnerships, and
hosting employer led events. The position will assist the College
of Business' Office of Outreach and Engagement team with
strengthening and growing its signature events and corporate
partnership strategies thereby fulfilling the goals and mission of
the College.Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular meetings with employers regarding all hiring
needs.
- Serves as the liaison between companies and our students.
- Act as the main point of contact in all hiring matters relating
to employers.
- Build and strengthen employer relationships to achieve
long-term partnerships.
- Meet with OOE, OPD, and OGP staff on a regular basis to
ascertain the needs of students.
- Maintain accurate corporate sponsor records, keeping track of
any contract updates and renewals including billing and
invoicing.
- Maintain in-house ATS including onboarding of employers,
approving/denying job postings, and company notes.
- Work with internal College of Business teams to develop
strategic marketing plans and ensure employer partners' needs are
met.
- Engage with prospective and current corporate partners, which
include multinational corporations, small businesses, and
nonprofits.
- Cultivate, manage, support, and track relationships with all
corporate partners and prospects using both versions of the
Salesforce platform (Knightline and GradBiz Knightline).
- Help develop and leverage leads to businesses through
referrals, telephone canvassing, cold calling, data mining of
employer websites, social media, direct email, and networking
events.
- Assist in planning and executing special Corporate Partner
sponsored events as needed, including developing student
recruitment promotion, engaging initiatives, and planning
recruitment events.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's and 2+ years
of relevant experience or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant
experience.Preferred Qualifications:The ideal candidate will
demonstrate excellent interpersonal coaching and professional
development skills, and the ability to effectively work within a
team environment. S/He will have experience in:
- HR recruiting and talent acquisition (minimum 2 years)
- Creating opportunities for professional development
- Partnering with employers to facilitate employment placement
from entry level to professional experience
- Coaching activities such as job search strategiesAdditional
