Description Technology Governance and Reporting Senior Associate represents the First Line of Defense and is responsible for partnering with functional areas within Technology to manage key governance routines, coordinates materials for critical committees, develop and maintain the technology strategy, and develop and manage policies, procedures and other key documentations within the technology department. Key Responsibilities:Works closely with executive leadership to develop reporting and ensure consistent and adequate messaging for key management routinesIdentifies critical areas to monitor and escalates issues and findings to appropriate stakeholdersInterprets regulations with a large degree of independence and suggests methods of updating policies and practices to address riskReviews current policies and procedures to identify gaps and opportunities for improvementEvaluates documentation to ensure completeness, gain feedback from key stakeholders and confirm alignment with enterprise policiesReports regularly on the documentation inventory and partners with document owners to drive performance improvementsAs required, assists subject matter experts (SMEs) in the creation of documentation, including process flowsAssists in the development and monitoring of the IT strategy and target operating modelPartners with Internal Audit, Compliance, and/or Risk Management stakeholders to share information and address issues as neededServes as primary resource to less experienced team members and/or cross functional team members and advises on risk mitigation opportunitiesAssists in the development and monitoring of the IT strategy and target operating modelRequirements:Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field or equivalent work experienceMaster's Degree: Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field a plus9-12 years' experience in Business System Analysis, Technical Writing, Policy Administration, Internal Controls, Auditing, or relevant IT experience and/or legal or regulatory experienceAbility to build credibility with, collaborate with, and influence line of business executivesAbility to build internal and external networks of information resources within the IT management ecosystemAbility to manage multiple high-priority initiatives concurrentlyAbility to constructively work both independently and in collaborative environments involving all levels of management and employeesHigh sense of urgency with ability to drive resultsHigh proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication/presentation skillsExperience with preparing executive-level presentationsAdvanced understanding of the financial services' regulatory environment a plusExcellent analytical and complex problem-solving skillsKnowledge of the financial services sectorAt Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams.
