Job Description:

Law firm in the downtown Orlando area is looking for a Legal Secretary with at least 3+ years experience. Parking is paid, and they offer medical and great salary. Please attach a resume for immediate consideration.

Required Skill Set

" Scheduling;

" Managing deadlines;

" Screening phone calls;

" Maintain and continuously update electronic case files with all papers and pleadings;

" Assist attorneys with preparation for depositions;

" Prepare hearing notebooks;

" Compile documents in response to production requests;

" Prepare production requests and interrogatories;

" Prepare rough drafts pleadings;

" Familiarity with Federal Court's rules and procedures;

" Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure;

" Familiarity with Business Court's rules and procedures;

" Communicating with clients;

" Dictation;

" Experience filing and maintain documents through CM/ECF and Florida State E-Filing Portal;

" Trial preparation and support;

" Administrative functions (i.e. mileage reimbursement forms; scheduling depositions; coordinating hearings; etc.);

" Drafting correspondences to clients and court; and

" Case management.
