Primary Responsibilities: Collect data from relevant data sources Review collected data to ensure information is accurate and complete (e.g., correct names; practice information) Seek clarifications or corrections to data from relevant stakeholders (e.g., return missing/incorrect documents to submitters; contact stakeholders to gather additional data) Review entered data in order to identify errors or discrepancies prior to submission Ensure data entry is performed in an accurate and timely manner according to internal standards Facilitate/make corrections to incorrect data entry when applicable Manage the internal/ external referral process and daily referral reconciliation Maintains knowledge and ensures procedures are followed including referral guidelines and policies, privacy, and confidentiality Deliver quality customer service, managing the referral process professionally and timely Work independently and act as a resource or subject matter expert (SME) for others Manage and prioritize tasks that may include compiling reports and spreadsheets Maintain professionalism and positive service attitude with all internal and external customers/peers Performs all other related duties as assigned You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: HS diploma or GED 1 year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems Ability to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel Proven ability to type and talk at the same time and navigate through multiple screens Proven detail oriented with organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: 1 years referral management experience 1 years customer Service Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance Experience working in a metric-driven work environment Knowledge of basic medical terminology Careers with WellMed.
