This position supports director level management and other levels of management within the business area. Candidate must possess strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and be a self-starter who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task. The individual must possess excellent calendar management skills. Strong organizational and follow-on skills are a must in addition to software skills that include a proficient working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Responsibilities include coordinating international/ Domestic travel, preparing logistics for customer meetings (room reservation, catering, facility preparation, etc.), generating expense reports, ensuring director is prepared for meetings, supporting staff meetings and maintaining calendars, answering phones, and coordination of weekly Items of Importance (IOIs). Individual is required to work independently as well as in a team environment, multi-task, demonstrate excellent prioritization skills, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required to meet specific deadlines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess strong computer skills with respect to Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), Electronic Calendar, Outlook
- Must possess the ability to coordinate complex travel arrangements and reconciliation of expense reports.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and customers.
Desired Skills:
-Experience interfacing with all levels of Lockheed Martin Management and external customers.
-Independent, self-starter who is able to operate a busy office and interface closely with other business units.
-Strong technical skills and teamwork skills.
-Experience working with the Concur travel system both international and domestic travel plans and expense reports.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
