Looking for an experienced Staff Accountant for a local company.

This position performs accounting functions and provides analytical support for accounting department. The responsibilities include provide day to day accounts payable support, obtain proper approval, ensure proper coding and process payments, provide day to day accounts receivable support, prepare invoices, maintain aging and follow up on past due balances, process Fixed Assets purchases in compliance with internal guidelines and post, post transactions in the accounting system, perform bank reconciliations, prepare account reconciliations and analysis, and prepare preliminary financial statements. Some payroll functions will be included within this particular position.

The best fit candidate will have a Bachelors degree, minimum five (5) years experience in accounting,
