This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. -

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Reconcile payments from the bank to accounts balances in Specialty platform
  
• Develop relationships with payers to obtain remits and resolve root causes
  
• Assure that timely and accurate follow up if performed on any remittance issues
  
• Identify issues/trends and escalate to Supervisor / Manager when assistance is needed.
  
• Provide exceptional Customer service to internal and external customers.
  
• Work with offshore partners to ensure that reconciliations are complete and accurate
  
• Develop relationships with other departments to provide feedback about root cause issues
  
• Adhere to Regulatory / Payer Guidelines and policies & procedures.
  
• Other duties as assigned.

  • 
    
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
    
  • 2+ years experience working in Microsoft office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
    
  • 2+ years experience working with medical cash applications/billing /medical collections, and/or accounts receivables
    
  • Ability to read and interpret EOBs (remittance advice)
    
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (using filters, sorting, conditional formatting, basic formulas)
    
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. -
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Specialty Pharmacy experience
      
    • Knowledge of NDC, ICD-10, and HIPAA

      • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
